God, may you lay your hand on those fighting for life. May you make them whole, and heal their hearts and minds. God help them on the road ahead. Aid them, as only you can, with you never-ending love and compassion. Bless those who gave of themselves selflessly to help those in need, not knowing if the danger had passed or there was more on the horizon. God, Welcome those to your gates the bombs claimed in your loving embrace, and help those who lost loved ones to move on from this tragedy. In your name, I pray, Amen.
This wonderful journey that I have been on called life has given me challenges, rewards, blessings, and learning opportunities. Above all, I have loved, lost, unfortunately hurt and been hurt. Through it all, I know God has been ever so patient with me. I have not always taken the road he has laid out for me, but I have always found my back to where he wanted me to be.
God is very patient, kind, loving, and wise. He never stops loving us, no matter what we do, like our real parents, his love is unconditional. We may fall out of grace, but he will always be there when we have hit bottom. He knows when we are sincere in our apologies, and when we ask forgiveness. I believe that true forgiveness through him only comes when you ask for it in earnest. God knows your heart; so, he knows if you are asking to be forgiven honestly or out of habit.
He lays a path for each of us to follow, and, even though it isn’t easy, following the path and following the plan he has for us, has rewards we can only dream about. Blessings in abundance and life for all time. He doesn’t want us to be miserable. He wants to be happy, fulfilled, and blessed. He wants us to know that He will always be there for us when we are struggling.
That, to me, is the best way of being home. This means, no matter where you are, when you know God and love Him, you are home.
