Don’t be an Undercover Christian.

… Or Let that light shine.
Don't hide who you are.

We often do not let our faith show in public because of what people will think of us.  The thought that someone will think us strange, or a little crazy makes us refrain from saying a comforting word to a stranger or give a lunch to a hungry person; so, we hide our Christian selves away and go one with our daily lives.  God doesn’t want us to do that. He wants us to shine with the light that is in each of us.

Matthew 5:16 …your light must shine in people’s sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven.

Let you little light shine.

Matthew 5:14  You are light for the world.  A city built on a hill-top cannot hide.

Don’t be afraid to praise Him, and follow is instruction.  God wants us to love one another, help when we can, not judge others, and be thankful for His blessings.  We can shine by helping those in need, being kind others, even when they are not kind to us (hard, I know), giving what we can when we can.  Don’t be afraid to be the Christian God meant us to be, in public and in private.  Who knows?  Someone may approach you and compliment you on your kindness.  Can we can opportunity to tell them about God?  I think we can. 🙂

Until next time, God Bless.
