Posted in Walks With God

So Your Telling Me He is Qualified for the Position of Savior? What?

There is no Jesus on this cross, because he didn't stay there! Amen!!!

Okay, Who died and left Jesus God?

HE DID!!!

Okay well, not exactly.  Let’s not jump to conclusions here.  When he died, he became the intermediary.  What?  Our who?  Huh?  The one who counsels us and helps us get closer to God.  he speaks to His Father on our behalf.  Cool, huh?

Back that wagon up…

What makes him qualified?!?!

He walked a mile, remember?  Check this one out.  he lived among us so that he could be our High Priest and intermediary for us.  Having suffered like the rest of us, allows him to better help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 2:18

For the suffering he himself passed through while being put to the test enables him to help others when they are being put to the test.

Let me run that by you again…

…For the suffering he himself (Christ) passed through…
(Letting it marinate….)

His crucifixion was the icing on the cake.  Having suffered as we did, he better understood us.  Therefore, he is better equipped to help us in our times of temptation.  He intercedes for us today in His court.  He knows what we go through.

Jesus

DID THIS FOR

US!!!

Yessiree!  He could thrown his hands up, said it was too hard, taken the first temptation to come along, and left us in the wind, but he didn’t.  He loves us that much!  If you think about it, he loves us more than we can ever imagine…

…And the Love just keeps on coming…
