He Died For Us… Are You Really Hearing This? Or Just Going Through the Motions?

You hear this every year around Easter.  We all know this.  I mean, they tell us every year.  It’s something we know by heart.

But Do We Really Listen?

I mean do you really let it sink in?  Have you ever really taken a look at the words and heard them?  Have you listened to the meaning, really listened?  I know, for most of you out there, you’re thinking Listen?  To a Book?  You can’t hear the bible.

YES, YOU CAN!!!

If you can look at this and not believe in God, you need to reevaluate your spiritualness.

How can you listen to a book?

First, you need to realize that the Bible is not just any book.  It is The Book.  It is The Living Word of God!  Back to the Topic…

He Died For Us…

Yes, Jesus did this, but you need to realize this was already in the works before Mary Ever Gave Birth to Jesus. God gave us his only son!  He walked with us, and talked with us, taught us, and suffered with us!

Psalm 8:5
You have made him little less than a god…
This was said another way in
Hebrews 2:7
For a short while you have made him less than the angels…

Okay…Okay…Okay…

Stop!

Just let those two verses stew in your mind for a minute.

…Less than a god…

…Less than the angels…

This means…

Our wonderful, loving, giving, forgiving, gracious God and Saviour…

Dare I say it???

Was Human!!!

He Was One of Us!!!
