Yep, it’s just what your thinking. I dabble in writing from time to time. Mostly poems, but sometimes I have a story in me, and I start writing it down. Most of the stories that pop in my head are from characters that I played (still play) when I roleplay (I am talking D&D and Shadowrun.)After I write it, I put it on the computer.
I am thinking about doing the Nanowrimo thing, but I am a little apprehensive about the word count deadline. I write when I have a burst of creative energy. I have stories that I have started, but I still have yet to finish them. *sigh* I am bound and determined to get a story done. I am hoping that posting the stories here will help motivate me to finish the stories.
As I write the posts, I will pit the links the poems and the chapters to the novels. The poems will be listed according to the date they were posted, newest on top. The stories will be by chapter and revision. I don’t believe in deleting mistakes. You never know when an idea you had in a previous draft may come in handy.
I will write a blog about the progress that I am having with Nano. Wish me luck.
